Luxury VIP Famil to Noosa – The Relaxation Capital of Australia

Sunset at Carlo Sand Blow - Rainbow BeachJacqueline Freakes, Sales and Events Executive at SLC Representation, recently assisted hosting with Tourism Noosa, a group of product managers and senior sales agents from luxury UK operators as well as a trade journalist on an exclusive VIP famil to Noosa. The famil was hosted in partnership with Tourism Noosa and Thai Airways. The initiative of the trip by Tourism Noosa is to increase visitation from the high-end UK market and to showcase the region's perfect suitability for the luxury market. By experiencing a huge range of product and accommodation the representatives from Abercrombie & Kent, Audley Travel, Cox & Kings, Bridge & Wickers and Gold Medal gained invaluable knowledge on how to position, market and sell Noosa to their clients.

noosaEnjoying the fabulous hospitality of Thai Airways the group jetted off in style, hosted with lounge access and Business Class seats courtesy of the airline.
Located on the southern coast of Queensland, 150km north of Brisbane, Noosa mixes sun drenched beaches, lush green hinterland and national parks and pristine waterways with a cosmopolitan and elegant lifestyle. Known as the 'Relaxation Capital of Australia', Noosa is the perfect place for a luxuriously laid-back escape.
The group's week down under was tailored to showcase the very best experiences and properties that this region has to offer.

Highlights of their VIP itinerary included complimentary spa treatments on arrival to sooth away the jetlag, delicious food and wine at some of Noosa's best restaurants; Noosa Beach House Peter Kuruvita, Ricky's River Bar & Restaurant and Sum Yung Guys in Sunshine Beach to name just a few, a privately chartered flight to breath-taking Lady Elliot Island – the southernmost point of the Great Barrier Reef, and 4WD tours on world famous Fraser Island and Rainbow Beach. For a final night of utter indulgence, the group spent their last day on their very own private island in the Noosa river. The Australian home of Sir Richard Branson, Makepeace Island offered poolside relaxation, cocktails on demand and an alfresco dinner by the fire - the perfect ending to a perfect week in paradise.
